What an adventure we went on yesterday. There's a hike I love nearby but haven't done in years. The walk to it starts on the beach and the tide was very high so there wasn't much beach to walk on. There's quite a log cross at the start, and a spot where it's very steep and you need a rope. The view at the top is incredble overlooking the ocean. We sat and ate oranges and watched the birds below and wondered if a particular floating log was a seal (it wasn't). It sure was nice having Wes home on Remembrance Day. With the business of the hike we failed to have our moment of silence at 11:11.
