Routine is a lovely thing. It allows the daily activities of life to happen by habit so that the meaningful agenda may flourish.
When I organize my space, I say "a place for everything and everything in its place".
When I organize my time, I say "a time for everything and everything in its time".
My new-found routine I'm talking about is the realm of parenting a school-age child. It's more beautiful than I'd dreamed. Even though it's just 3 hours in the morning, my whole life suddenly has structure. I have to prepare the night before, get up at a consistent hour each morning. I especially love that my middle child has my almost-full attention, and I LOVE my morning walk with only two around the loop and down by the beach.
And oh yeah, he's pretty cute isn't he!
